Privacy Policy

Skylar & Rafael Missions is an online children's reading library operated by Solus Marketing, a small business based in the Philippines. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how you can get it removed. We have tried to write it in plain language rather than legal boilerplate.
The short version: we collect the least we can — your email address, your name, and optionally your child's first name so the reader can greet them. We never see your card details. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to advertise to your child.
1. Who we are
Solus Marketing, Philippines. We are the data controller for the information described here. For any privacy question, correction, or deletion request, email support@skylarmissions.com.
2. What we collect, and why

What we never collect
- Card, bank or GCash details. Payment happens entirely on PayPal's systems. We receive only a subscription reference and whether it is active.
- Your password in readable form. It is hashed before storage.
- Your child's surname, birthday, photograph, school, or location.
- Any data from your device beyond what your browser sends to any website.
3. Google user data
If you choose Continue with Google, Google shares two things with us: your email
address and your basic profile (your name and profile picture URL). That is the whole of it —
we request only the email and profile scopes.
We use it for exactly one purpose: to create and identify your account. We store your email and name in our database alongside any other account. We do not read your Gmail, contacts, calendar, Drive, or anything else, and we could not — we never ask for that permission.
We do not transfer Google user data to anyone else except the infrastructure providers listed in section 5, and we do not use it for advertising or sell it to anyone. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can revoke our access at any time from your Google Account permissions page; to also delete the account on our side, email us.
4. Children
Accounts are for parents and guardians, and you must be 18 or older to create one. We do not knowingly create accounts for children or collect information directly from them. Children read under your supervision, using your account.
The only child-related field we hold is a first name, and only if you choose to give it. There is no profile, no tracking, and no advertising directed at your child anywhere in the reader. If you believe a child has created an account without a parent, email us and we will delete it.
5. Who we share it with
Only the services that make the site work. Each holds data on our behalf under its own security obligations. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with data brokers or advertisers.

We may also disclose information if we are legally required to, or to protect someone's safety.
6. Cookies
We use cookies for one job: keeping you signed in and checking your subscription when you open a book. There are no advertising or third-party tracking cookies set by us. Blocking these cookies will stop you being able to sign in.
7. How long we keep it
For as long as your account exists. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your profile and sign-in details, keeping only the payment records we are required by law to retain. Server logs are discarded on a rolling basis.
8. Your rights
Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) you have the right to be informed, to access your data, to correct it, to object to its processing, to have it erased or blocked, and to data portability. You may also complain to the National Privacy Commission.
To exercise any of these, email support@skylarmissions.com. We will respond within 15 working days. You can also see and edit most of your data yourself at any time on your account page.
Deleting your account
Email support@skylarmissions.com from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. We will confirm once it is done. If you signed in with Google or Facebook, this also removes the link to that provider.
9. Security
Your data sits behind row-level security, so one account can never read another's record. Passwords are hashed. Payment credentials never reach us at all. The whole site is served over HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep the amount we hold small on purpose — the safest data is the data we never collected.
10. Changes
If we change this policy in a way that materially affects you, we will email account holders before it takes effect and update the date at the top of this page.
